Fiberglass is a completely natural material, environmentally friendly and harmless to human health. Fiberglass is obtained from quartz sand by melting in a glass furnace at t 1580 C and adding various raw materials. A binder is added to the fiberglass for additional strength and tightness.
Fiberglass is valued for its unique properties: incombustibility, high resistance to bending, tearing, compression, high temperature and moisture resistance, resistance to chemical and biological actions with a relatively low density. It is a material that can be unwound, twisted, woven, chopped, bound, impregnated and worked like any other fiber.
