Technological process for obtaining finished products:
1. In the production of elementary fibers, two technologies are used - one-stage and two-stage. From the glass melting furnace, the glass melt is distributed into spinneret feeders and then the fibers are drawn.
2. Using these technologies, we can obtain 2 types of fibers: continuous (complex glass threads more than 20,000 meters long, with a diameter of 3 to 50 microns) and staple fiber (length from 1 to 50 cm, diameter 0.1-20 microns )
3. After this, the fibers are treated with a lubricant, at this stage the strength of the glass fiber is enhanced, and hydrophobization and reduction of electrification occurs.
4. After treatment with lubricant, complex twisted threads or unidirectional threads are made.
5. At the final stage, fabrics, ribbons, and nets are produced on looms.
